Dr Melanie Fraser is a seasoned evaluator, having worked with the NHS, local authority and third sector clients. She is experienced in using qualitative research to evaluate services, demonstrate impact of programmes, and identify the wider benefits of public health interventions. Previously she worked in education, where she taught law as well as publishing research on medico-legal topics and public sector evaluation. More recently, she has written magazine articles, podcasts and film scripts communicating research for the wider public. She served on the Central Committee of a nationwide health charity for five years, and formerly volunteered as a Breastfeeding Counsellor on the National Breastfeeding Helpline. She holds a PhD in public health from UWE Bristol.
