Sarah Banham

Sarah has over 43 years’ experience in healthcare in the public and private sector. She has spent over 34years in general practice and was first Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) in the UK to own and run an NHS GP surgery. She has been a director of several NHS primary care organisations, been a clinical governance lead and an advisor for the Department of Health.

She has established primary care provision in countries such as India, Bangladesh, KSA and China and developed and delivered training for doctors, nurses and support staff. She has led in quality and governance and won recognition for patient satisfaction and establishing an international nursing fellowship. Sarah has also worked for Primary care International in resource poor countries. Recently she has been involved in redesigning the model of primary care working with some of the most deprived communities in the UK.

Sarah is passionate about driving change that has a significant positive impact on peoples experience of health and social care.
