Learn how the online public responded to key public health messages and announcements at the start of the pandemic. Take away lessons to shape future public health communications.
As the UK faces a second wave of the coronavirus pandemic, it will be vital to learn lessons highlighted in a new study on public health communication.
The research, undertaken by Ipsos MORI on behalf of Future Care Capital, was published recently in a series of Communicating Public Health reports. Analysis of more than 3.6 million online posts provides rich insight into the public’s conversation about COVID-19 and the Government’s responses to the pandemic. It also reveals the challenges experienced by NHS and social care staff and the public’s reflections on their own mental and physical health.
A presentation of headline findings from these experts will be followed by a Q&A.
This event is of interest to a wide-ranging audience across the NHS, social care, national and local government, academia and charities.
