John Grumitt

John leads Future Care Capital (FCC), an independent charity dedicated to overcoming barriers and delivering sustainable, measurable improvements across health and care.

He brings extensive experience in healthcare transformation, entrepreneurship, innovation and investment, helping FCC and its partners turn ambition into practical, lasting change. Working with commissioners, clinicians, patients and policymakers, John has helped transform health services, improving outcomes from among the worst nationally to top-five exemplars recognised by NICE and NHS England.

He co-founded Changing Health, taking a university spinout through venture investment, deployment across more than 30 NHS organisations, national adoption and international expansion. He has also held senior leadership roles with Diabetes UK and the International Diabetes Federation.

At FCC, John draws on this experience to convene stakeholders, unlock investment, overcome implementation barriers and bring together the expertise and resources needed to deliver measurable system change and scale successful innovations.
