COVID Conversations: Lessons and insights about communicating public health

3rd November 2020 about a 1 minute read

As the UK faces a second wave of the coronavirus pandemic, it will be vital to learn lessons highlighted in a new study on public health communication.

The research, undertaken by Ipsos MORI on behalf of Future Care Capital, was published recently in a series of Communicating Public Health reports. Analysis of more than 3.6 million online posts provides rich insight into the public’s conversation about COVID-19 and the Government’s responses to the pandemic. It also reveals the challenges experienced by NHS and social care staff and the public’s reflections on their own mental and physical health.

We heard from Steven Ginnis, Research Director at Ipsos MORI and Annemarie Naylor MBE, Director of Policy and Strategy at Future Care Capital.
