27th April 2021 about a 2 minute read

Technology is transforming people’s lives and revolutionising adult social care but the sector is not keeping up with healthcare when it comes to innovation.

An upcoming event entitled Adult Social Care Tech:The Future of Home Monitoring aims to focus on what needs to be done to grow the sector and improve the quality of care in people’s homes.

The online event is being organised by Future Care Capital (FCC) and will look at the various ways technology is supporting people at home, what users think of monitoring technology and what new innovations are on the horizon.

The webinar follows FCC’s launch event in February of the Care Tech Landscape Review which explored the tech startups and developers using technology to support people to live independently.

This follow-up event will be taking an in-depth look at some of the monitoring systems currently supporting people in their own homes, as well as the gaps in the market.

Panellists will also be discussing how technology can be used for preventing adverse events.

The session will be chaired by Greg Allen, CEO at Future Care Capital and speakers will include Vic Rayner, CEO of the National Care Forum, Amer Fasihi, CEO of tech company Kraydel and Mario Zuccaro, chairman of Oysta Technology.
