RYSE Fund

Future Care Capital (FCC) is the cornerstone investor in the RYSE Special Opportunities Fund (the Fund), managed by RYSE Asset Management.

This venture capital fund backs transformative health and care technologies that improve access to and the quality of care.

The Fund raises capital from institutional and qualified investors to support early-stage companies developing innovative solutions for the NHS and other health and care systems.

Portfolio Highlights

The Fund’s early investments include:

  • Braingaze – A revolutionary eye-tracking tool that enables fast, drug-free diagnosis and treatment of cognitive conditions, including ADHD.
  • Curio Digital Therapeutics – A digital cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) platform tailored for women’s health. Curio offers evidence-backed therapeutic support via a Software as a Medical Device (SaMD), connecting users with trained coaches and therapists.
  • Skin Analytics – An AI-powered diagnostic solution that uses machine learning and a smartphone dermascope attachment to analyse skin lesions and support early cancer detection.
  • ten63 – A biotechnology company using advanced generative AI and chemistry to design novel therapeutics for historically undruggable targets, including Myc and KRAS G12D.

FCC’s Relationship with the Fund

Although FCC is the anchor investor in the RYSE Special Opportunities Fund, both FCC and RYSE operate independently. This independence ensures each organisation can bring its full expertise and perspective to bear on cutting-edge, impactful work.

The Fund is managed exclusively by RYSE Asset Management on behalf of its investing limited partners. FCC has no decision-making role, though it may introduce potential opportunities for consideration by the Fund’s managers.

FCC no longer makes direct investments in individual companies, nor does it directly fund the acceleration of innovation development or implementation on behalf of providers or commissioners. However, we do seek grant funding from third-party organisations to support our work and cover operational costs.

RYSE is actively seeking both new investment opportunities and additional capital commitments from institutional investors and ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs) ahead of the Fund’s next close.

Advisory Services for Charities

While FCC no longer invests directly, we offer strategic advisory services to charities interested in investing in health and care innovation.

We support mission-driven organisations on their investment journey – helping them understand the market, de-risk decisions, and ensure alignment between investment activity and charitable goals.
