Neil Churchill

Neil is an experienced leader with a 30-year record in the voluntary and public sectors. After working in senior leadership roles at Barnardo’s, Crisis, Age Concern and Asthma UK, Neil joined NHS England on its foundation in 2013 in the lead national role for improving experiences of care. He has since led on NHS’ Commitment to Carers, the response to health inequalities the NHS Long-Term Plan and on the development of NHS Volunteer Responders during the coronavirus pandemic. Neil received an OBE for services to the voluntary sector and carers and holds a PhD in art history.
