24 September & 1 October 2018 – Party Conference 2018

Past Event

We hosted two fringe events over the past fortnight at both the Labour and Conservative Party conferences, where Greg Allen gave a speech and delivered FCC’s key messages as part of the Q&A with a large audience.

This year’s fringe events were jointly hosted with the think-tank IPPR. Our fringe events considered ‘what next for social care’ in the context of the long-awaited Green Paper and the ongoing suggestions of a cross-party commission on health and care funding. These events also looked to take stock of the reform agenda, engage politicians in a conversation about the options going forward, and encourage more action in addressing the challenges the sector is facing.
